GRM Weekly: Safety and the Cathedral

Our week has been busy making sure our clients get a fully comprehensive concierge service!

It’s October 28th, 2019 and this is what happened at Glass River Media last week.

It’s finally here, the ZISA Safety Awards. This is the event that The Association of Union Contractors holds to celebrate safety in the workplace. Specifically, construction contractors. This is why we went to Toledo, Ohio last month. It was to produce a video for the ultimate gold winner of this award.

They worked over tow million man-hours without a significant injury. That’s a pretty great accomplishment and they got awarded last week at the National Cathedral! And the video that Zeke made played to show the audience exactly what they’d accomplished.

“Well, RMF Nooter, they have a safety culture. To get the record, injury-free man hours, it is skilled pre-planning. 2.3 million man-hours, that’s something else.”

In addition to the video playing, we were covering the event photographically. Michael Carpenter Photography is their main-stage photographer, and I was there to get all the behind-the-scenes action! The cathedral was lit beautifully which always makes taking photographs a lot more fun.

While I was doing that, Zeke was off by himself in Minneapolis shooting interviews for the Be The Match National Marrow Donor Program. He was gone for four days and we’re looking forward to seeing him back this week!

That’s all for this week! Until next week, stay busy, stay engaged. And I’ll be back with more news next week!
