GRM Weekly: Bots Need Not Apply

Usually the beginning of the year is one of our slower times in this business… but not this year!

We’re particularly excited about all the LinkedIn videos we’re doing for Kirk Westwood. You should go check them out!

It’s January 20th, 2020 and this is what happened at Glass River Media last week.

The new year is in full swing and social media is more critical than ever! We posted the first edition of Kirk’s Failure Files on LinkedIn just last night. This was the project I was telling you about last week and you should find Kirk Westwood on Linkedin to check it out.

But let’s say you like our more fast-paced, goofy projects. Well, you’ll find another video posted right there, this morning, where Kirk talks to a digitized, robo-version of himself. I had a lot of fun making this effect last week and I think you’ll have a lot of fun watching it.

We also finished a project for our good friend Shay Rowbottom, and you can find that on her LinkedIn page today too.

In addition to all that, Zeke did some video engineering for Moon Bounce Media in Maryland last week, Nathan and I got to shoot in the GEICO employee gymnasium, I took some photos at a fancy party, and Kory flew out of town to attend the movie premiere of a film she worked on last year.

And if all that wasn’t enough to fit into one week, we also hosted the NEXCO business association meeting in our offices on Wednesday. That’s right, all that work I kept telling you about last year has finally been finished and our studio is now open for more than just video and photography. We’re now officially a meeting space too.

And I’ll be meeting you back here next week. Until then, stay busy, stay engaged, and I’ll be back with more news next week.

Stay Busy, Stay Engaged!
